The week started out with Kim attending a real estate seminar downtown in Atlanta. No big worries except she had to be there by 8am and for those that don't know Atlanta that means she had to be out of the house by 5:30a. So that left me taking Kori to seminary (6:10am), getting the boys ready for school (7:30a) and all the normal housekeeping chores (I am not too good at this). Monday was OK, I handled things but something happened Monday night... I started getting vertigo and feeling really nauseous! It couldn't be the flu as I had my flu shot, right? Wrong!
By late afternoon on Tuesday I was in pretty bad shape. No temp just really lethargic. I made it through the day and Kim was home on Wednesday. I was feeling a bit better and actually contemplated taking a motorcycle ride. It didn't happen as I was still feeling a bit of the vertigo and didn't trust my body. Jump to Saturday...
Saturday morning came and got up and was going to take Lucy (family dog, a yellow lab) for a walk. I got on some sweats and nelt down to tie my shoes and blacked out! Fell to the floor and Lucy looked at me like "what's up dude... get up I want to go".
I had the blinds drawn back as the light was really bothering me. Kim and I spent the day in bed all day Saturday and most of Sunday. Kim did call the Dr Sunday morning and asked the Dr. to prescripe "tamaflu" (sp?). That has helped her, but we didn't catch mine soon enough to use the drug. I was feeling a bit better by Sunday evening, Kim is feeling better but still a bit run down. Kids are OK at this point, not going to say more as I will inevitably jinx myself.
No major happening this past week. This week: Kori is trying out for the school play. Jeremy has his 1st soccer practice on Friday. I am really looking forward to seeing Jeremy play. Jack had his 1st baseball practice yesterday. It was cold and too windy for me to be taking pictures. Mainly because I am a wimp and didn't want to walk around with the camera. Also wanted to keep an eye on Jack.
Hope everyone is doing well! More soon.... D
